The Senior Executive will work closely in consultation with the Deputy Director and Director of BioPharmaChem Ireland (BPCI), to ensure the objectives of the Biopharmachem sector are met across a range of operational, processes and strategic priorities. This senior Executive role within BPCI will manage relationships with members and other key stakeholders and identify opportunities for growth that bring substantial added value to BPCI members.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Strategic Skills & Talent Development
- Drive the strategic skills pillar for BioPharmaChemIreland by coordinating key Talent & Skills working groups and committees.
- Ensure strategic topics around talent and diversity & inclusion (D&I) are addressed, acting as a primary representative on these issues on behalf of member companies.
- Provide high-level regulatory expertise and support to members working closely as a subject matter expert alongside members and key stakeholders in the regulatory space.
- Track upcoming regulations in the BioPharmaChem sector to ensure members and the internal team are highly informed and prepared for industry shifts.
- Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with relevant regulators, government departments, and policy makers at national, EU, and international levels
- Identify opportunities to raise the profile and reputation of the BioPharmaChem sector and make strategic recommendations accordingly.
- Support the planning and execution of BPCI communications, including public relations campaigns and digital channels, ensuring the broader strategy of the sector is effectively communicated.
- Support the Key Account Management by supporting the BPCI team to ensure members are aware of and utilising the full suite of Ibec services, including ER, legal supports, networking, and policy insights
- Deal with members enquiries and provide ongoing information to members on relevant issue.
- Assist the work programme under the guidance and with support and guidance from the Deputy Director and the Director of BioPharmaChem Ireland
- Provide high level regulatory expertise and support to colleagues in BPCI
- Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with key stakeholders and policy makers with relevant regulators and government departments, at national, EU and international level.
- Be an active member of the overall BPCI Team ensuring theobjectivesof thesector are met
- Ensure compliance with the Ibec Trade Association Handbook.
ABOUT YOU
Experience
- Minimum 3 years relevant post graduate experiencewith a requirement for a strong background in a regulatory orbiopharmaceutical industry environment.
- Proven experienceoperatingata high levelwith committees or working groups
- Demonstrated ability to review and interpret complex regulatory and policy information and present it succinctly to members.
- Strong communications experience, including delivering presentations, managing meetings, and using a range of communication methods
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills, paired with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and manage complex environments.
- Ability to communicate succinctly and utilise a range of communication methods asappropriate.
- Strong Experience working in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
