The successful candidate will lead strategic projects and business development initiatives across the Irish Medtech Skillnet and Medtech and Engineering Apprenticeship teams. . Management for existing large impact/critical projects to ensure commercial impact of the project is achieved. The role also encompasses ownership of the development projects undertaken by the Apprenticeships, Springboard and Skillnet’s across the team, managing stakeholder engagement and scoping of funding opportunities that will align with the strategic goals of the Networks.
The primary responsibility is the identification and development of business opportunities across the Funded networks within Medtech and Engineering Funded projects, which will include the responsibility for the delivery and management of projects across and within networks. The role will report directly to the Head of Funded projects for Medtech and Engineering. It will involve the coordination of business and funding project activities across the networks, including identification and development of activities to deliver on commercial projects for the funded networks (i.e., Skillnet’s, Apprenticeships and Springboard).
This position is a specified purpose contract covering a period of maternity leave. The closing date for applications is 14th July 2025 . This role can be based primarily from Ibec Dublin or Cork offices with consideration for other regional locations, please specify proposed location with your application.
