JOB DETAILS
Ibec is hiring for 2 positions within it's Membership and Sectors Division, one position will support a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) incorporating Food Drink Ireland, Dairy Industries Ireland and Technology Ireland. The other Sectors Executive will support a SBU incorporating Drinks Ireland, Small Firms Association and Financial Services Ireland. ABOUT THE ROLE
To work closely with the Head of Sectors, in supporting a designated Strategic Business Unit (SBU) within Ibec, in delivering its strategic goals and priorities.  The Executive will also support specific Ibec sectoral trade associations in their policy, communications and events work, as needs arise. Excellent opportunity for a creative and dynamic professional to gain broad experience in a fast-paced environment.

Supporting delivery of Ibec’s Strategy, including in these areas
  • Strategy delivery
  • Risk Management
  • Cross Ibec divisions networking and collaboration, including on specific projects
  • Change management
  • Governance
Support specific Ibec sectoral trade associations 
  • Participation in and coordination of Sector meetings, including sourcing speakers, ensuring appropriate minutes and papers are prepared and actions implemented.
  • Deliver member services including events, webinars and networking.
Member Relations
  • Preparation of member communication and information channels.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with senior executives in member companies.

Qualifications
  • Hold a primary degree in a relevant discipline
  • Additional relevant postgraduate/professional qualifications would be an advantage
Knowledge
  • An understanding of Ibec’s service offering
  • Good grounding in strategy implementation
  • Keen interest in policy and communications
Experience
  • 2-3 years relevant experience
  • Working in a busy environment, managing demanding workloads and tight deadlines
  • Strong relationship skills, with a proven track record in managing both complex internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interfacing with senior executives in a committee and working group environment an advantage
